SELF DOUBT

For as long as she could remember, she questioned everything. Was she good enough? Did she deserve happiness? Was she making the right choices? The city, with its fast-paced life, and endless rush, only amplified her self-doubt. The walls around her felt like boundaries, and the ceiling above, a reminder of her limits.

Then, one fine day, she found herself in the heart of a jungle—unplanned, unexpected. The air smelled of damp earth and freedom. The sky stretched beyond what she had ever seen, an endless canvas painted in hues she had never stopped to admire before. She walked aimlessly, her feet brushing against wildflowers blooming in reckless abandon. They did not hesitate to grow. They did not seek validation. They just bloomed.

She looked up at the vast, open sky. It did not wonder if it was too wide or too blue. It just was.

She reached the shore, watching the mighty sea kiss the land, retreat, and return again, never doubting its rhythm, never questioning its purpose. It held within it entire worlds—creatures, plants, shells—all living in harmony without second-guessing their existence.

And in that moment, she wondered: Had nature ever doubted itself?

Had the wind ever hesitated before blowing? Had the trees ever held back from growing? Had the river ever questioned whether it should flow?

She realized something profound—self-doubt is a burden only humans carry.

Nature does not pause to ask if it is worthy. It simply exists, thrives, and embraces its own being without fear.

As she stood there, her heart felt lighter. Maybe,  she didn’t need to question herself so much. Maybe she could just be—like the flowers, the sky, and the sea.
