NOTIFICATION FROM UNIVERSE
What life brings to you sometimes is unexpected… how beautiful is life—sometimes, you are just in awe of it.
As I sat in a
café in Aram Nagar, typing these very thoughts (not at all making this up—that’s
literally the line I randomly typed while staring around the café), a couple
took the seat right next to me. I was trying to focus, but just then, a cat
appeared, demanding my attention. They say you should never ignore two things
in life—your parents' call and a pet’s call. So, I started pampering her, just
the way I long to be comforted sometimes.
Time was
ticking, and I was struggling to decide what to write when the elderly couple
beside me started chatting. That’s when I overheard something intriguing—there
was a play happening nearby, Gandhi, featuring none other than Makrand
Sir. A brief conversation later, I learned that they were there to watch the
play, as Makrand Sir was their friend. How wonderful, I thought, to
witness such friendships endure over time. We exchanged a few words, and I went
back to my writing.
Usually, when I
sit down to write a blog, I have an idea in mind. But today, I was completely
clueless. Just then, a bell rang, signaling the start of the play. The couple
got up to leave, but to my surprise, one of them turned back and asked, "Would
you like to join us?"
I had no plans,
so I thought, Why not?
I shut my
laptop and found myself in the theatre.
Then, Makrand
Sir entered. Anyone who knows him knows he is raw, authentic, and deeply
present. He greeted the audience and spoke about many things—so much so that I
felt I could just note down everything he said. But one thing that still echoes
in my mind is what he said about the stage:
"Some
say a stage is divided into three parts. Others teach that it’s divided into
six, nine, or even sixteen. But for me, a stage is not divided into anything. A
stage is simply where one stands."
Wow......This wasn’t just a lesson about the stage; it was a lesson about life. For almost an hour, I watched him perform a solo act, never once slipping out of character. The play on Gandhi was unlike any I had seen before—thought-provoking and fresh. But what amazes me the most is that I never planned to be there.
And soon, I realized why I had written the first line today… The universe keeps dropping notifications - What life brings to you sometimes is unexpected… how beautiful is life—sometimes, you are just in awe of it.
